Iowa 80 Celebrating Drivers at 33rd Walcott Truckers Jamboree

The Walcott Truckers Jamboree began in 1979 as a gesture of appreciation from Iowa 80 to their trucking customers. Now in its 33rd year, the jamboree will again celebrate truckers July 12-13.

Visitors can browse the nearly 200 exhibits, play carnival games, and participate in the Trucker Olympics.

Look for OOIDA driver Jon Osburn and OOIDA’s tour truck, “The Spirit of the American Trucker.” Other attractions include a Super Truck Beauty contest, antique truck display, pork chop cookout and two free concerts.

On Friday, July 12, country music artist Randy Houser will perform courtesy of Mobil Delvac. The next night Cat Scale brings country singer James Wesley to the stage.

Admission and parking are free at the family event, which is expected to draw about 30,000 attendees.
