DENSO Announces Enhancements to its Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Program
Improved capability, cutting edge technology and expanded coverage added
DENSO Products and Services Americas, Inc., an affiliate of leading global automotive supplier DENSO Corp., has announced significant improvements to its PowerEdge Diesel Aftertreatment Program.
Key among the changes is expanded coverage for diesel particular filters and coming this spring full coverage for diesel oxidation catalysts.
“We recognized the need for an all-new program as costs associated with core management rise and core fall-out increases,” says Joe Mejaly, senior vice president of DENSO Products and Services Americas, Inc. “In addition, we are employing cutting edge technology to improve both the quality and performance of our product offering.”
DENSO is also adding a medium-duty DPF/doc program with coverage for vehicles in Classes 2-6 including those manufactured by GM, Ford and Chrysler.
The program also has improved supply capability and faster lead times with turnaround in 24 to 48 hours.
DENSO Products and Services Americas Opens New California Warehouse
Rancho Cucamonga location to carry parts for wide range of customers
DENSO Products and Services Americas, Inc., an affiliate of leading global automotive supplier DENSO Corp., has announced the opening of a new parts distribution warehouse in Rancho Cucamonga, California.
The new warehouse is part of the company’s initiative to build for the future and establish world-class distribution centers. The 143,000 sq. ft. warehouse is 53,000 sq. ft. bigger than the company’s Compton, California warehouse and is only six miles from one of its largest customers.
The facility will carry parts the needs of the company’s automotive, light-duty and heavy-duty original equipment markets.
DENSO developed a strategic Kaizen Plan to improve its parts distribution warehouses. The new location was the result of the plan, which also includes streamlining processes and developing standardized work procedures and improve safety.
