Your nominations for the 2014 Influential Woman in Trucking award are due Friday, January 31, 2014.
The Women in Trucking Association (WIT) and Navistar are hosting this award to recognize women who make or influence key decisions in a corporate, manufacturing, supplier, owner-operator, driver, sales or dealership setting.
WIT and Navistar teamed up to develop this award in 2010 as a way to honor female leaders in trucking, and to attract and advance women within our industry. Winners have included Rebecca Brewster, president and chief operating officer, American Transportation Research Institute; Joyce Brenny, president of Brenny Transportation; and Rochelle Bartholomew, chief executive officer of CalArk International.
The winner will be announced at the Truckload Carriers Association annual convention in Grapevine, Texas, on March 25, 2014. If you nominate a candidate, please ask her to save the date for this event in case she is named a finalist.
